The Ladies Market in Hong Kong is one of the most popular markets for inexpensive bargain-priced clothes and accessories, and despite its name, it is not only for the ladies, here you will find a wide variety of men's clothing, and just about all kinds of merchandise including small household items, electronic gadgets and toys.
The Ladies Market is located in the Kowloon side in the overcrowded district of Mongkok, although quite frequented by tourists, this has a very "local" atmosphere in what used to be known as the heartland of the Hong Kong triad gangs.
The shopping area comprised of three parallel streets which you can easily explore in one go:
- The Ladies Market is on Tung Choi Street between Argyle and Dundas Streets
Fa Yuen Street Market is on Fa Yuen Street between Prince Edward and Argyle Streets

When is the best time to visit the markets?
Things get going from noon and as late as midnight, if you visit early in the morning, stand/shop owners will very likely be in the process of setting up their stands and the merchandise.
At night, the markets are quite lively but not as crowded as the Temple Street Night Market, one of the busiest night markets in Hong Kong.
