If you love flowers and greenery, this is a "don't miss". Every spring, the Hong Kong Flower Show takes place in the middle of the towering skyscrapers of the city as Victoria Park transforms itself into a bright and fragrant oasis with elaborate displays of flowers and landscaped areas put together by local and international organisations.
Throughout the show, floral demonstrations, cultural events and competitions are held, and it is certainly a great way to spend a day or a half-day. There are also comemrcial stalls and you will see all the locals loading up flowers, green plants and gardening supplies.
This year's theme "Floral Joy Around Town" features the Angelonia as its theme flower. Commonly known as the Angel Flower, its small and unique flower shape as well as refreshing fragrance will certainly provide the mesmerizing impressions this show is so well-loved for.
